Upon arrival, your estimator will discuss with you the project in detail, find out what it is that you want to do and figure out the best way to accomplish that. Once scope of work has been determined the estimator will take pictures of the bathroom and make a scale drawing of the bathroom and create a task list. The task list is simply a list of tasks that make up the scope of work that has been agreed upon. Estimator will forward all information to the showroom designer who will assist you with material selections during your showroom appointment. Once all selections have been made, sit back and leave the rest to us.

Yes. Metropolitan Bath & Tile has all required licenses. Bathroom remodeling is a very specific industry and requires certain licenses to be allowed, legally, to perform this type of work.

Maryland: Maryland Home Improvement Commission License (MHIC), WSSC Master Plumber’s License (in Prince George’s County and in Montgomery County). Maryland State Master Plumber’s License in all other Maryland jurisdictions.

Virginia: Class A Contractor’s License and a Master Plumber’s License is required.

Once we know what materials are being used each task on the list will be priced and all the prices come out of a price book. So the same task is always the same price no matter where you live or how affluent you appear to be.

When the task list is added up, that’s what your project will cost. Our prices are not negotiable because we don’t inflate our prices so we can offer some fake discount to make you feel like you’re getting some special deal. We don’t play those sales games, we respect the intelligence of our customers.

If the total cost is beyond your budget we can always go back to the task list and see what can be changed or eliminated to bring the cost within budget. We are very open about our pricing, there’s no secrets, and you’re always welcome to review the task list.
